Wow! Did you see this year coming?! We sure didn’t. And, boy, did 2015 hit us hard, with both excitement and challenges. As Eileen and I celebrated the marriages of 21 extraordinary couples, they reminded us over and over again what life is all about.
Love.
You know that part of a wedding ceremony, when the officiant encourages married guests to recall and renew their own vows to each other? Well every time we heard that line recited this year, it sounded like so much more than a ceremonial obligation. That’s because the couples you see below inspired us with their love, and we’re better for knowing them. That’s the kind of impact we’ve hoped to make in their lives, too. And the thriving marriages we see now tell us that the past twelve months have been a huge success!
We had big dreams for 2015, and somehow they all were surpassed! (If you’re curious for a glimpse at our 2015 year in review, continue here. We’ll give you a hint: It involves airplanes, TED Talk bts, a Chinese baby hunt, Barnes & Noble, grand canyons, various babies of other nationalities hunting us, 100 bulldogs, Minneapolis slums, bathrobes and more…) We won’t forget the moments we shared, the places we went, or the relationships we built with the amazing couples you see here. None of it would have been possible without them. Thank you for letting us into your lives. Thank you for trusting us to tell your stories, to create something tangible and irreplaceable from within your moments. It has been indescribably good.
