The votes are in, and it’s time to announce the winners of our “Lovebirds of 2014” contest. The highest number of votes go to, drumroll please…

It’s a two-way tie, between Adam & Jessica and Andrew & Megan! Congratulations, you guys! As a result, both couples will receive a beautiful 16″x20″ gallery wrapped canvas. (We briefly considered making them share a Photoshopped portrait that combined both couples together — but the sharing schedule became overly complex. So they’ll each get their own. I mean their own personal portrait. Not their own copy of the two-couple composite. That would be awkward.)

Seth & Lauren were a super-close second and, therefore, will receive a lovely 16″x20″ mounted wall enlargement. Can’t wait to see it on display!

We had other close runners up as well. We’re excited to be delivering some unique artwork to them, too. Wishing you all joyful and art-full homes in the new year!

After reading over 500 voters’ comments, we  were inspired by the support and love you all poured out for our 2014 couples. The notes were thoughtful — and often hilarious! We’re in a literary mood, so our current favorite is: “Megan and Andrew! // This poem is for you two // What a good haiku” Seriously?! Very clever. Then this one had us blushing:  “..Truly some of the most beautiful and unusual photos I’ve ever seen. Every shot could be an ad in a magazine–all the right moments are skillfully documented. The photographer has enabled the bride & groom and participants to be relaxed and natural–a huge feat on such a heady day! The dramatic outdoor backdrops are incorporated extremely well complimenting but not overwhelming the subjects…wow, wow, wow! Just gorgeous.” Wow, thanks! Whoever you are, commenter, we’d like to offer you a job in our newly formed marketing department. 😉

Thanks to The Classic Center and The Carl House for hosting such beautiful weddings for these couples. And thanks to all of you for making the past year exceed our expectations in so many ways. Here’s to you — and to a happy and prosperous 2015!
