A new warmth filled his eyes every time she returned his gaze. As if he were seeing her for the first time again, but this time with the secure knowledge that their connection was forever.
“She is so much my best friend that we are almost the same person,” Harrison said. “I can’t wait for the rest of our lives together.”
Yes, Harrison is a lucky man. But Lauren is equally blessed. “He truly is irreplaceable,” she told us. “I am so lucky to be able to spend the rest of my life loving each new adventure with him by my side.” After the short time we’ve already spent with this incredibly sweet couple and their wonderful family, we couldn’t agree more!

“Harrison and I both grew up in Athens, GA and have never lived more than 10 miles from each other. We did not meet, however, until 2009 when we both started working as camp counselors at Athens Y Camps in Tallulah Falls, GA. We became close friends at the end of the summer of 2011 while working a camp retreat. Shortly after the retreat, I started my freshman year of college at Georgia Southern University where Harrison was already a sophomore.
“We remained very good friends throughout college, although secretly we were both head over heels for each other. It wasn’t until shortly before Harrison’s graduation that he realized if he didn’t at least try he could possibly lose any chance he had with me. Little did he know that I had already fallen for him too, and before we knew it we were FINALLY dating and out of the friend-zone after 6 years.”
“Harrison is the man I’ve always prayed for. He is the perfect example of thoughtfulness, dependability and patience in a relationship. He makes me a better person every day just by how he loves me. Harrison makes every day an adventure with his contagious spirit, whether he is taking me on a beautiful hike or whether we are just in our backyard, everything is fun with him. Harrison is the most hard-working person and is constantly challenging himself to learn and do new things, which makes me admire and appreciate him even more. He pushes me to become the best version of myself, and his constant support for me is amazing. He truly is irreplaceable, and I am so lucky to be able to spend the rest of my life loving each new adventure with him by my side.”
“Lauren is the most ‘full of life’ person that I have ever met. She is funny, beautiful, loving, cute, and she is always willing to lend a hand to anyone that needs it. Lauren loves the outdoors and being in nature. We especially love hiking in the North Georgia Mountains. Lauren is an animal lover, which is great because we have 2 dogs, a cat and soon we will have 2 chickens as well. Lauren loves to nap but is always up for the next adventure. She is so much my best friend that we are almost the same person, and I can’t wait for the rest of our lives together.”
“We would love for our friends to say that our wedding was fun and very ‘us.’ We want it to be a perfect blend of timeless elegance and rustically relaxed. Our loved ones will hopefully look back and remember our wedding atmosphere as full of love and warmth.”
