The home of ‘Extraordinary Memorable Events’, Carl House is an elegant, historic, Southern home that was built in 1902 and is situated on four manicured acres in Auburn, Georgia. When only the charm and gentility of the South will do, Carl House is the ideal destination for your special day. Lovingly restored to its original white columned majesty and surrounded by lush, formal gardens, this traditional southern home provides the perfect backdrop for your cherished memories. Carl House was beautifully restored which you can see this site here and opened as an all occasion event venue in 2003. The venue has lavished interiors and a grand ballroom with a classic curved staircase. The exterior landscape of the home includes a beautiful outdoor ceremony site, gazebo, pergola, a new waterfall feature, covered porches, and a lush private garden, a perfect space for your wedding photos. Carl House features an elegant bridal suite, and a spacious groom suite, where the bride, groom, and their wedding party can prepare for the wedding in private. 

Unlike many wedding venues, Carl House holds only one event at a time so your guests can enjoy the estate in privacy. The Carl House experience was designed with beautiful weddings in mind! With our exquisitely appointed home, ballroom and grounds, our intention is to make your planning easy with little need for additional décor.

Our Wedding Director, event manager and staff will all work tirelessly to make your event unforgettable.

Designed as an all inclusive venue, Carl House offers many amenities including in-house culinary, fully stocked bar, floral design services, wedding direction, rental items, Mirror Me photo booth, and more. We provide set-up of our outside or inside ceremony chairs, tables, mahogany Chiavari chairs, linens, stemware, china, flatware, our house décor and post event cleanup.
