my stomach was turning the morning of susie and nick’s wedding.
every wedding we get to photograph is a huge honor for us. (i mean, every artist must feel grateful when someone believes in his work. how can you not be absolutely humbled when a bride and groom grant you the sacred responsibility of making art out of cherished wedding moments — art that will be valued for generations?!) well, that thought in itself is enough to start my stomach a-churnin’. but, on top of that, susie is an amazingly talented artist in her own right. and you better believe eileen and i feel the pressure — as well as a little pride 😉 — when a talent like susie places such a great task in our hands.
however, we did have some very good material to work with! so many of the beautiful details in this wedding are susie’s handiwork. from the love bird-themed decor to the feather hair pieces worn by the bridesmaids. (each one was uniquely and intricately designed!) nick’s greek heritage played a very cool role as well — not only in the blue and white, but in some very exciting celebratory traditions, such as smashing dishes and large group dances, during the reception. opa! (keep an eye out for the upcoming slideshow to catch an insider’s glimpse at all those antics!)
until then, here are a few of our favorite images from susie and nick’s wedding. hope we done y’all proud! 🙂

Such sweet words! I have to say, you guys have made us proud! You are both such talented artists yourselves, and I am so happy we chose you guys to shoot our big day – i wouldn’t have picked anyone else. =) WE LOVE THEM!!
The pics look great! When are we going to see the whole collection?
