Sneak Peek | an intimate wedding at Rhodes Hall, Atlanta GA

I can’t fully express how grateful I am for the quiet and sacred moments I get to witness through my lens. I loved getting to know this beautiful, brilliant, and kind couple — celebrating their marriage along with their parents and just a few family members. Congratulations, you two!

I read your article in Shutter magazine regarding using on camera flash:You said to put bounce card in front of your flash How do you do that?? Do you just hold it in front of flash with your hand and shoot with one hand?? Can you shoot photos of how this is done??

Good question! Yes, in a pinch you could simply hold a bounce card (or even your bare hand) in front of the flash. I’ve done this myself on occasion, but you really want more control and both hands on your camera. As a solution, I simply adhere a strip of sticky Velcro around the top of my flash; with a small piece of Velcro on my bounce card, I can quickly reposition it anywhere on my flash head in a jiffy. Hope that helps!! 😉
