we loved all the tradition and symbolism surrounding michelle and patrick’s wedding. from the meticulously woven chuppah they were married under, to the sacred ketubah signed by loved ones and detailing their covenant to one another, to the smashing of glasses and hoisting of chairs in celebration! michelle and patrick, together with their friends and family, were so wonderful to celebrate with. mazal tov to you both!

it was also a pleasure to shoot at the picturesque inn at serenbe. the rural resort adjoins an idyllic community, mixing historic and contemporary design seamlessly. it’s hard to imagine a more scenic and relaxed atmosphere for a wedding. only possible drawback — the enormous swine that barreled its way into the reception hall. (although i heard he only behaves that way at jewish weddings. perhaps he feels more welcome where he’s not likely to be on the menu.) 😉

we loved all the carefully chosen wedding details — ideas mostly put together by michelle herself. but most of all, after hearing their story and getting to know them during meetings and their engagement session, eileen and i were just thrilled to see this committed couple tie the knot in such a spectacular way.

hope you like this sampling of some of our favorite images from their wedding. to see more, don’t forget to watch michelle and patrick’s wedding slideshow! enjoy.

This is where I got married, too! 🙂 GREAT pictures, per usual, Philip and Eileen!
