photoshop is an amazing tool, isn’t it? the false reality one can achieve with it is stunning! during our recent engagement shoot with jessica and andrew, we noticed they didn’t look very glamorous — in fact, they were downright ugly. ;P so what did we do about it? we used photoshop to cut them out of their own engagement pictures; then we replaced them with the unbelievably attractive couple you see here — models from a GQ ad.
all right, you called my bluff. actually, no photoshopping was required for these good-lookin’ love birds. (they have their parents to thank for that.) but even more impressive, they have a beautiful love — a powerful love for each other, but also one that extends to their families and anyone lucky enough to cross paths with them. i’ve been privileged to know jessica and her family for many years. in fact, when i taught high school english, jessica was one of my brightest students. (excuse me for a moment; i suddenly feel the urge to hobble into the kitchen for some prune juice.) getting to interact with andrew has been a real treat for me, seeing what a great guy God brought into jessica’s life. (although andrew still probably got the sweeter side of that deal. we guys usually do…) 😉
congratulations, you two! we’re so looking forward to your wedding day. till then, happy holidays!
