yep! on june 10, katie and josh had the best tripp of their lives. he came complete with 10 fingers, 10 toes, and a loving set of parents just waiting for him. what more could a kid ask for? (well, maybe some clothes. he didn’t come with any of those.)

his arrival, we know, is just the beginning of an amazing journey for this handsome family. (you may remember the good-lookin’ gene pool that brought you this baby if you viewed katie and josh’s maternity session.) as they say, everything changes when you have a baby. for one thing — as katie recently commented — when it comes to sleeping, “5 is the new 8.” but there’s a trade-off here, as a cute baby takes the place of morning sickness and swollen body parts. i mean, look at that cute little mug! sometimes i think a newborn wakes his parents up for their own good, just to bless them with more of those precious moments together before he grows up. (then again, it could just be that he has gas. or maybe it’s karma — in the form of gas — revisiting his parents for all the nights they kept their parents up as babies.)
