what do michael jackson and africa have in common? okay, admittedly not a lot. but there is one thing: stacie — or anastasia, as i’ve fondly known her since she was just a kid. it’s hard to believe anastasia is a rising high school senior now. it seems like only yesterday that she and my younger sister mary elizabeth were in our living room dancing and singing along to michael jackson’s “free willy” music video. (it was a bonus feature at the end of the kid-friendly movie “free willy.” in case that phrase required further clarification.) still, certainly not the mature behavior befitting young ladies named for royalty! although i am pleased to announce i have the entire episode recorded on home video, which i am willing to part with — for the right price. 😉
anyhow, “stacie” has come a long way since those younger, wilder days. we barely had a chance to schedule her senior portrait session due to all the volunteer work and overseas trips that jam-packed her summer schedule. like a recent volunteer trip that took her to africa — hence the very cool necklace. yep, this is one kid who turned out a-okay in my book. i can’t wait to see where the rest of her life adventure takes her. congratulations on your upcoming graduation, stacie! keep those blue eyes of yours focused on the Goal. you’re gonna do great!

She kinda reminds me of Mary Jane in Spiderman. You captured her blue eyes in that shot peeking through the sunglasses. Great job!
… and the first picture looking up. Very striking!
Stacie, you are gorgeous! Beautiful job, Blume Photography!
Oh Stacie, I’m afraid you’ll never outlive those crazy 3rd grade moments..not if Phillip can help it. You were a cool kid then, and now you’re cool AND drop-dead gorgeous! Those eyes could start a fire! Look out, world!
