As she touched his hand, his mouth curled into a smile on one side first. Steven’s trademark smirk. Breanna stood around the corner from Steven, hiding him from her view until the ceremony. It was only minutes away, where their friends and family now waited for them on quaint chapel pews at 100 Acre Farm in Madison, Georgia. The touch of a hand, a simple reassurance that he would see her at the altar.

Breanna and Steven’s wedding day was beautiful and sunny. But the cheerfulness really came from their loving families and bridal party, who just enjoyed hanging out together at the farm together to make memories. The air was full of talking and laughing, sure signs that everyone was staying chill and enjoying life.

Breanna really really wanted a portrait with some farm animals! Like.. really badly! Unfortunately, most of the animals were away at the time. Except the chickens, but it was hard to get close enough to take a picture with them!

Luckily, the new bride’s fearless husband was ready to wrangle a chicken for her. But.. it didn’t quite work out. lol. So we had to get creative. We barricaded the chickens in by placing Breanna and Steven in the doorway, where they were also nicely lit by the sunset. Then we set up flashes to backlight the chickens and roosters in the foreground, showing off their handsome profiles and gobblers. (Take that, chickens!)

So fun and sweet! Breanna and Steven danced to a song from one of their favorite anime movies. Since Eileen and I met in Tokyo, we were so excited to hear a Japanese song as they shared their first dance.
