I’m amazed at the way God grows two people together over time, weaving them together through shared experience and struggle like a single beautiful tapestry. The strength of that bond showed up clearly in Christian’s expression, the first time he saw his bride standing before him on this wedding day. His eyes filled with intense gratitude. I would love to compare that expression to how he must have looked the very first time he saw Savannah across a crowded room. I imagine his heart was racing just as much then, too.
They met in Washington, DC through a mutual friend. The friend invited them both to a game night at her house and immediately encouraged Christian to ask for Savannah’s number. He didn’t try to rush things that night. Instead, he waited till the very next day, when she got his phone call asking her out on a date. The rest is history!
“He’s kind, a great encourager and listener, committed to faith, and my best friend,” Savannah told us. “He has a lot of weird quirks (like passing out if someone touches his eye!), but he’s fun to be around and I love adventuring with him.”
“She makes me feel loved,” Christian said. “She’s sweet, God-oriented, and just such a fun person.”
We can’t say enough about these two and their elegant, fun, and romantic wedding in Norcross, GA, at Flint Hill. Bathed with beautiful details in burgundy, blush, and white, this celebration among quality friends and loved ones was absolutely a worthy way to kick off an amazing, meaningful marriage journey! Congrats, you two. We’re so excited to see where God leads you together!
