On their first date, these two lovebirds already knew they fit together perfectly. That’s no surprise really, since their love story is the stuff of great rom-com films. Marisa and Cory went to the same high school in Athens, Georgia, and while they didn’t actually know each other, they shared many a “crushing” glance from across the halls.

They both left high school without ever properly meeting, and for years, they went their separate ways. Then, six years later, they reconnected in Tennessee, where Marisa’s parents had moved and where Cory was at college on scholarship. The rest, of course, is history.

Marisa and Cory’s wedding was absolutely beautiful and filled with so many special moments, like the bride and groom washing each other’s feet by the river before the ceremony. We can think of no better way to usher in a marriage full of love than with such an image of sacrificial service!

Congrats, Marisa and Cory! We love you both, and we know you have an incredible future ahead of you!!
