A Romantic, Bold, and Traditional Outdoor Wedding at 9 Oaks Farm

Filed in:

Every love story is unique, and so is every wedding. Berkeley and Dalton, a couple deeply in love, celebrated their special day in a way that truly reflected their personalities and style. Their wedding was a beautiful blend of romance, boldness, and tradition, set against the backdrop of a stunning outdoor venue. In this blog post, we’ll take you through the key details of their wedding and how they created a memorable day.

Guests and Venue:

  • Berk and Dalton expected around 125-130 guests.
  • Their wedding was held outdoors, and they had a contingency plan in case of inclement weather. The venue would set up the ceremony inside at the reception location.

Wedding Colors: The wedding colors were a delightful mix:

  • Bridesmaids wore champagne.
  • Groomsmen were dashing in navy blue.
  • The flowers showcased bright summer colors, including yellow, orange, pink, and light blue.

Social Media: Berk and Dalton embraced the digital age and had a social media hashtag to capture their wedding moments.

Unplugged Ceremony: They also opted for an unplugged ceremony and requested a personalized sign, which we provide among other options for our Signature “Blume couples.”

Getting Ready: Berk’s preparations began at 2 pm in the bridal suite in the warehouse. The groom’s preparations also took place in the groom’s suite.

Attire and Rings:

  • Berk’s wedding dress came from Formally Yours.
  • Bridesmaids’ dresses were from Show Me Your Mumu.
  • The groom and groomsmen wore tuxes/suits from Men’s Warehouse.
  • The wedding rings were from Shane Co, with the bride’s ring customized in rose gold and a cross on top and the groom’s ring in silver with “love you longtime” engraved inside.

Bridal Accessories:

  • Berk wore handmade shoes from Greece.
  • Her necklace was a beautiful piece with sentimental value, made from her grandmother’s jewelry.

Special Traditions: The couple incorporated meaningful traditions into their wedding. The cross at the altar came from a tree on Berk’s family farm, and they honored their grandparents with framed pictures on the front row. Before the wedding, the groom even pet the bride’s family bull!

Pre-Ceremony/First Look: Berk and Dalton chose to have a “first look” before the ceremony.

Ceremony Location: The wedding ceremony took place at 9 Oaks, in “The Meadow.” The address is 2425 GA Highway 83, Monroe, GA 30655. You can contact them at 9oaksfarm@gmail.com or visit their website at https://9oaksfarm.com.

Reception: After a fun cocktail hour, the reception took place at 9 Oaks in “The Warehouse” and featured a menu of heavy hors d’oeuvres.

Reception Details:

  • The couple had a unique dessert setup, including Crumbl cookies, a small wedding cake, and a groom’s cake.
  • They had a special getaway truck bed set up with blankets and pillows for a memorable photo opportunity.
  • Their formal exit would feature sparklers and a down-to-earth pickup truck getaway!

Conclusion: Berk and Dalton’s wedding was a perfect reflection of their love and style. With an outdoor setting, bold and romantic themes, and a touch of tradition, their special day was filled with beautiful moments and memories that they’ll cherish forever. We were so honored to capture these unforgettable moments and be a part of their incredible journey!
