For the third time already that morning, Nancy’s eyes opened wide as her hands fluttered in front of her face. She was holding back a flood of tears as they tried to reach the surface. Happy tears! The sense that something important was happening–something sacred and meaningful–was palpable in the air.  

This elegant wedding was so much fun and simply filled with love! As Nancy and Wes prepared both physically and emotionally to present themselves to one another during their ceremony, I loved observing the ways they expressed their joy through the day. Nancy soaks in details, smiling contentedly to herself even when she doesn’t realize anyone is watching. Wes has a calmness and humility about him, his thoughts and comments often returning to how Nancy is doing or what they together are looking forward to in life.  (Btw, if you haven’t yet seen their engagement portraits, you HAVE to go see them now! They are sooo fun and cute!)
