It was meant to be. They met halfway across the world—at the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa—only to find out they’d be attending the same medical school in Florida. For Kiro, it was definitely love at first sight. For Ashley, it was… a little bit creepy that every time she offered information about where she would be and what she’d be doing after the trip, Kiro would respond with, “Me, too!” Thankfully, deep down inside, the fluttery feeling was mutual for Ashley, and the two went on to be come one of the sweetest couples man has ever known. 

It might sound like an exaggeration to use such superlatives, but if you had been to their wedding, you’d be saying the same thing, too. 🙂 Before their wedding, Kiro told us about a surprise he was planning for Ashley, and to make sure we captured it on camera. He staged the band playing the wrong first dance song, then stepped in himself and sat behind the keyboard. He proceeded to play and sing the real first dance song—something he had been practicing for months—and Ashley’s reaction was priceless (not to mention there wasn’t a dry eye in the room)!
