Warm weather and even warmer hearts. Just the thought of Meredith and Josh’s recent engagement shoot is enough to keep us cozy today. Eileen and I spent last evening huddled around the fireplace with Meredith and Josh and their amazing families. With eleven of us smiling and laughing together as we flipped through images and relived this exceptionally fun shoot, it was definitely one of the larger engagement Premiere parties we’ve hosted. But somehow, it was also one of the most intimate. Maybe it’s the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday that put us in this frame of mind; more likely, it was this beautiful family’s warm and familiar manner. Whatever the reason, we went to bed feeling deeply grateful for the people we meet in our line of work — and for the strong, supportive community Meredith and Josh have around them as they embark on the amazing journey of marriage.
We had a blast exploring campus and our classic city’s downtown with these two — plus their cute pup Lucy. Meredith and Josh are one of those couples who are so kind and joyful, people everywhere seem to gravitate toward them. So it was even more special and rare for us to share this quality one-on-one time with them before their wedding. We had chatted then about their loud happy families and the big group of close friends they love spending time with. We can’t wait to meet even more of them and celebrate your marriage together soon, Meredith and Josh! In the meantime, enjoy the holidays and keep each other warm.
