How can I possibly describe why we love LeeAnn and Matt so much? For one thing, we can’t get enough of LeeAnn’s enthusiasm. This girl never stops smiling! It’s contagious. You’re just immediately at ease in her presence. We love that her emails are written in the same playful tone, and they always get us laughing. For example: “LOVING THESE PICTURES!!!!! Fact: I have watched the slideshow 12+ times today. Fact also: I was VERY busy at work today, and I still managed 🙂 Funny when I got home to find Matt with a similar story.” That makes us a little nervous, since Matt is a scientist and studies diseases that affect children. (If we did anything to distract the good doctor or lead to the prolonged suffering of innocent children, we sincerely apologize! It was unintentional.. and all Matt’s fault.)

Seriously, we couldn’t be more impressed by Matt either. Perhaps he can be quiet compared to LeeAnn; a more serious nature, perhaps. Yet he’s completely warm and welcoming. And we loved watching the way he lit up when he first saw LeeAnn before their ceremony. Their smiles, simply irresistable. The only thing that can get Matt that excited is, well, the old-school arcade game “Buck Hunter.” Yes, you heard right. Matt and LeeAnn’s amazing friends surprised them with a full-size arcade version of the game at their reception, and Matt seriously flipped out. LeeAnn tells me the unit is lovingly installed now in their home and gets lots of loving use. (Again, may God help the children.)

We’re so grateful to know this dynamic duo and their terrific families. A big thank-you to LeeAnn’s sister Erica, also a photographer, who recommended us for to photograph this wedding. What an honor. And the decor and details couldn’t have been more lovely. (You can check out the couple’s vendor details below for more on that.) Congratulations once again, LeeAnn and Matt. We’ve been blessed by all the good vibes and good work you send out into the world, and we know everyone who meets you feels the same way! All our best.
