eileen and i met andie during a trade show, way back when blume photography was still a part-time project in its beginning phase. we’ve been following each other’s work ever since. andie is a very talented and successful photographer in her own right; so we were extremely humbled (and even a little nervous) when she gave us the ultimate compliment: requesting that we photograph a special session for her and her husband, sean, for their fourth anniversary. andie’s concept for the shoot was great:  we would start at the loco’s restaurant where she and sean first met. sean drove up in the same wildcat — the real reason andie fell for him so quickly. (*growl!*) it was cool to imagine that first fateful meeting, then to re-create it right down to the clothing they wore that night and the curb where they first spoke. only this time there were no nerves or inhibitions. instead, four years of shared life and love. definitely something worth capturing.

we had a blast with you two, andie and sean! we’re glad we can now brag “we were there with you where you met” — if not when you met. it was an honor to share such a special part of your story with you. here’s to many more wonderful, wild, happy years! cheers.
