why does the new kid on the block always seem so cool? maybe it’s the mystery when she walks into the otherwise familiar classroom. will she eventually blend into the crowd, or do we fall way too far below the standard of cool she’s used to? anyway, that’s how i felt whenever a newbie showed up at my high school. megan, a texas import, has no doubt been ’round these parts long enough now to warm her way into the heart of everyone she meets. spend a short time with her, and you’ll quickly learn she’s the most approachable and fun-loving girl you can imagine. but you can bet the ranch she’ll never lose her cool factor. with brains, looks and athleticism, this gal has a lot going for her. most importantly, she’s the rare type who really has her feet grounded and her head on straight. we can’t wait to see how far she’s gonna go. hopefully, this senior year will be a springboard to launch her in the perfect direction — and just a whole lot of fun, too! congrats, meg. make the most of every moment.
