update your dictionaries, people. there’s a new way to spell “fun” — and it’s G-E-T-C-H. this sensational seven completely rocked our world (and their photo shoot) with their uninhibited attitudes, laugh-out-loud humor, and endless energy. of course, after ricky’s senior session, we should have known this is the kind of family necessary to produce that brand of coolness and creativity. as yvette (that’s mrs. getch) proudly put it: “there isn’t a shy bone in any of their bodies.” not a shy cell, i should say.

what’s more, this shoot fell on a very special day for one of the younger getches, emy. her birthday! what a unique way to celebrate with the whole family, right!? anyway, eileen and i had a blast! i hope the afternoon was equally memorable for all of you, getch crew. thanks for spending your b-day with us, emy. we’ll talk to you again soon. in the meantime, enjoy these images — you certainly look like you enjoyed being in them. 🙂 merry Christmas!
