it’s a jolly holiday with jessica and joseph. this couple makes yer ‘eart so light! (forgive the “mary poppins” references. too much kids music on the ipod, i think — all for our little jasmine’s sake, of course!) but we really did experience something magical in the presence of these two. they share a joy — and a great sense of humor — that had our faces plastered in smiles during their whole engagement shoot. i think this first pair of images says it all:  passionate love for each other + fun-loving gusto for life = many years to look forward to, making beautiful music together. (and i’m talking more than just disney musicals.)

after exploring a few new corners of town together, we tagged along to visit joseph’s brother’s new bookstore location in downtown athens. dog ear books is a wonderfully eclectic and cozy shop, full of local flavor, cool old records (as you’ll find jessica and joseph exploring in an image below), and lots more. a perfect place to capture a few unique shots. we heard more from jessica and joseph about their families as we thumbed through books, and we can’t wait to meet them all on the big day! we’re looking forward to your wedding, y’all! till then, keep makin’ the sun shine bright. (no wonder that it’s jessica and joseph that we love!)
