We connected with Jaime and Brian first via Skype, while they were still on the West Coast, but planning their wedding “back home” in the Atlanta area. Early on, as we prepared ourselves to capture their wedding day well, we asked this amazing couple to tell us what they hoped people would say about their wedding. Here’s what Jaime said: “I want them to say that it was beautiful, perfect and a great party.” And in his own special poetic way, Brian said, “I want them to leave thinking it was the best wedding party ever. Perfect couple with the perfect wedding… smiles on faces, sweat on the brows, drinks in hand and pure bliss in their eyes!” Love that last part — because “blissful” is exactly how Brian’s eyes looked every time he looked at Jaime (which was often) on this glorious day.

In a way, sweet and spicy shrimp brought these together. It tasted horrible, said Jaime. You see, after meeting at an art show, Brian harangued Jaime for over two weeks — persistently working to convince her she should come over for a home-cooked meal. He was cooking. They laughed off the inedible caramelized candy shrimp, and it was the spark that ignited their beautiful partnership.

They have an amazing support system in their families fun-loving friends. We had the best time getting to know every one of them! We hope to see you again soon, Jaime and Brian.
