Lisa and Tom are simply exceptional! We began to realize that fact from the first hours we spent with them, during their engagement session. And it was the clear consensus from every single person who showed up to celebrate their gorgeous wedding at Primrose Cottage. The excitement built steadily, as friends and family arrived throughout the morning, beaming at the sight of Lisa — who was herself aglow with enthusiasm as she prepared to see her groom. Part of the fun of hanging around these two is their hilarious sense of humor. The jokes and laughter never ceased that morning, neither among the bridesmaids or groomsmen. (My chest actually hurt from so much chuckling under my breath — and often out loud — as I observed it all.) Tom made one valiant attempt at “punking” Lisa, calling her from the groom’s suite to say he might be getting cold feet. His delivery was convincing, but the only reaction he got was Lisa’s cool “shut up” followed by a dial tone. (Good try, though, man.)

From lush floral arrangements to colorful, striped socks, the day was surreally beautiful and simultaneously so “them.” Our only complaint with Lisa and Tom is that they up and moved to Charleston just as we were getting to know them. (Boo! We miss them already.) Thankfully, we got to FaceTime with sweet Lisa this afternoon, sneak a peek at their lovely new place, and reveal these images to her for the first time. It was wonderful catching up with you, Lisa. We hope you and Tom enjoy reliving your day through images this evening — and over and over again! Congratulations again, you guys! All our best for your new adventures ahead!
