g’day, folks! i’m writing from vacation today, which means two things: 1. my laptop is teetering dangerously close to falling into the swimming pool, and 2. i’m teetering dangerously close to becoming a workaholic. i don’t want either to become true; so i’ll keep it brief. but frankly, i couldn’t wait to share kimberly and andrew’s wedding with everyone. we got to reveal their images to them the night before we departed for florida. we had a great time visiting with them and the whole family again (and sharing a yummy cheesecake to celebrate the birthday of kimberly’s dad)!
a fun fact: this marks the first wedding eileen and i have had the privilege of shooting at our church home, watkinsville first baptist, as well as the first time we got to shoot at the lyndon house (where eileen and i celebrated our own wedding). we knew (the infamous) kimberly and andrew by reputation before they asked us to photograph their nuptials. but we’ve had such a blast getting to know them and kimberly’s family more intimately throughout all the preparations and the celebration of this momentous day! both kimberly and andrew are unspeakably wonderful, kind, servant-hearted — and photogenic, which is a perk of working with them. 😉
we love you guys, kimberly and andrew. we’ll see ya when we get back home. till then, cannonball…
